First Stage Feasibility Report |
The High Plains Express (HPX) Preliminary
Feasibility Report has been completed. The report is the culmination
of a yearlong study directed by the HPX participants to address the technical,
economic and conceptual routing aspects of a major multi-state transmission
project involving the states of Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.
On the basis of these studies and the resulting report, steps are being
taken to advance the HPX project to the next stage, which will involve
more detailed feasibility studies and additional stakeholder outreach.
When that occurs, notifications will be posted on the HPX Web site to announce
next steps and stakeholder meetings.
